The cut piece is distributed to the first free operators down ramp station. Once the operator has removed a piece from the parked position on the down ramp, a new piece will be dispensed on to it, so that there is always a piece ready in the parked position. The sewing table conveyor is synchronized with the sewing machine during the sewing and reverses at high speed to assist turning the product, making it suitable for large products (quilts, bedspreads etc.) When sewing is ready the operator sends the finish product to the folder and packing machine.
